If we leave Sopron east-way, we can find ourselves in the Fertõ-lake's special widewater-world.

The lake is surrounded by various countryside and it is a part of the nearly twenty-thousand-hectare Fertő-Hanság National Park. Prince Miklós Esterházy built a baroque castle in Fertõd in the 18th century, which operates as a museum today.
